Re: My Husband
We go to the doctor tomorrow and also have a specialist appointment in about three weeks time. I cannot understand these numbers, it was high again this morning. Thank you all for caring, it is very much appreciated.

Re: My Husband
I don't like that it takes so long to get in to see a specialist. Many times, a specialist's opinion is required right now. Good luck trax, I'll be sending positive vibes your way. The best to your husband.

Re: My Husband
New medication was prescriped. He gets quite weak and dizzy. With all the medication, first thing in the morning is not a good reading. As I told this to the doctor, I added - lord, I'm thinking he is imaging a Rachel Welch, when in fact, doc - it is just me. We all laughed, made light of a bad situation. This will be the last medication until we see the specialist. The medication has to work its' way, the body has to be accomodating - that is why there is no rush to a specialist.
We do have 911 service.
And, I forget to tell you - all thanks! Thanks so much, I appreciate your thoughts and well wishes.

Hopefully the new meds will work and keep his BP down.

Re: My Husband
I'm so glad to hear there's at least someone listening to you and paying attention. I hope this new medicine works fast and well.
Re: My Husband
I also hope the new meds help get the BP back where it should be. I'm glad you can keep humorous, sometimes it can make all the difference.
Re: My Husband
I'll be praying that this new medication helps!

Re: My Husband
I hesitate to speak too soon, but blood pressure has been down (not in stroke range) for three mornings straight.
I take it as a good sign and hope for the best. I hope to awake some morning with a chest like dolly parton and he is not dreaming

Re: My Husband
Oh that is great Trax, I hope it stays down. Maybe this medication will be the answer.
Re: My Husband
Whoo-hoo! (to both the wonderful improvement in blood pressure and to having a chest like Dolly Parton's. We all need a dream.)

Re: My Husband
My husband received a perfect bill of health yesterday from the doctor. The doctor actually said, he was perfect. I gasped! Nearly opened my mouth to say, this guy is not perfect. However, I had questions to ask, so I sat still. The doctor did the check up, spoke on the the recordings of the blood pressure, I asked my questions - received my answers and then the doctor said, he hoped not to see us again. As we walked out of the examination room, I shook the doctors' hand and told him - thank for keeping him alive - he replied, you go girl - everything is fine. As we moved down the corridor, I looked at my husband and said - lord, I think he thinks I am your daughter, not your wife. We laughed! It was a happy day.
Thank you for everyone here who stopped and posted. Your well wishes were so much appreciated and I will say - many times, I just sat here and cried. Thank you all, so much. To All.

How does it feel to be married to someone who's perfect?
