It wasn't Elvira, although the vampire wig was similar. This was done at a local station in Lexington, KY. I just found it online (remembered the names of the hosts who replaced her) and the show was Monsterpiece Theatre and the hostess was Millicent P. Ghastly. Apparently, it was done live (at 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.) and no one who worked on it was paid. It was an all volunteer effort done mostly for the fun of it.

I never saw Candyman. I used to love horror movies as a teenager, but I don't now. It's all Scott's fault. He hates them and it's no fun going alone. So I got out of the habit. Later when I did start going again they were way more gross than I remembered. I still like suspenseful stuff, but not out and out horror.

I like scary, but not gory and gross. Hard to find these days. Candyman was awesome.
