Do you have a favorite seasonal candy? The kind you can only get once a year?
Mine are RObin eggs, and candy corn....to the point of stalking the wal mart waiting for them to put them out

There are these lifesaver suckers that only come out for Easter, they are great. They come in cotton candy, berry, banana, and a green one (I can't remember what that flavor is, probably lime). I stock up on them after Easter when they go on sale!!!

Cadbury Cream Eggs. They're only out at Easter, but I love them!
Oh and I almost forgot Maple Sugar candy from the sugar bush. That should be coming on in the next few weeks!

Mmmmm. I love candy corm. I hate the cadbury eggs, though. I don't even know what the maple candy is. Is it a canadian thing?

Oops! I forgot pumpkin pie! I love pumpkin pie but you can only find it in the late fall/winter. It's not a candy, but it's good.

I remember when I was little, my grandma used to get some kind of maple candy that was in the shape of maple leaves....oh that stuff was good, but I remember it being very sweet. I haven't seen any of it in years.

Actually, after I think about, I haven't seen any maple candy at all for a long time.

Sorry Karen, just seeing that you asked about Maple Candy now. BuzzNut sounds like she's had something similar. It's shaped like a maple leaf and it's very sweet. It's kind of like maple fudge but better.

Yeah, but the pie I make is nowhere near as good as the ones Kroger's makes. Actually they just bake Mrs. Smith pies, I think. But I am too impatient to even bother with those. Why bake it and then wait hours for it to set up when I can just buy it already cooked at the bakery and eat the first slice in the car on the way home?
