My Favorite Xmas movie is A Christmas Story and the year without a Santa Claus

I love Silent Night. I sing it to Quinn all the time as a lullaby, but it really touches my heart and reminds me that Christmas is not just about getting stuff and trying to be perfect and going crazy when it doesn't work. I also love the Grinch song. That's my favorite Christmas special. Not the movie. The animated one narrated by Boris Karloff. And my favorite Christmas movie is It's A Wonderful Life. I watch it every year and almost always tear up.

Saige has been singing jingle bells batman smells since before last Halloween (at least her dad is teaching her something). She thinks it's hilarious that Robin lays an egg- she has an aunt Robin- she sings it to her every time she sees her.

Timmy sings Jingle Bells year round. Well, his version anyway. lol

But, I will be honest. Having worked retail for about 10 years.. and having to hear Christmas music from the day after Halloween until after New Years, I am SICK of it. I can not stand any of it, unless it is actual people caroling. Then I will make an exception. You have to understand, when you hear the same songs over and over during an 8-10 hour shift for 2 months, they get old. And it's not like anyone really comes out with anything new each year, so every year, it was the same stuff over and over. That is the one thing from working retail that I just do not miss now that I am a SAHM.

Hallmark has an ornament this year of Sam the Snowman from Rudolpfh the Red-Nosed Reindeer and it plays Holly Jolly Christmas. I'm in heaven!

Anything by Trans -Siberian Orchestra, Bay has been Blasting "beethoven" for days.

Missy- I understand perfectly from my nights in the convenient store. Days aren't bad at least there are people to distract you- overnights it's just you and the damn Christmas music, the same songs over and over and over, you start to think if I never hear another it will be too soon.... to thinking oh my god my head is going to explode if I have to listen to this crap for even another minute. By the time morning rolls around Christmas spirit is replaced with thoughts of strangling a reindeer.
