My weekend...

I have been gone from here for too long. lol

This past Saturday was my hubby's company picnic. He had volunteered for the dunk tank, and well, that was the best part.

The picnic took place at a HUGE park that included a petting zoo and a pony ride. They had sack races for the kids, a ring toss (that my son won!), pinatas, food (yum) and the dunk tank, plus a park for the kids to play at. We spent most of the time letting Timmy run around the park, but when it was Tim's turn to be in the tank, well that was fun. I have pictures of all the guys that took part in getting dunked, and my hubby was one of the last ones to go in. Timmy dunked him on his first try! Of course, his size allowed him to be closer than the other kids and the adults, but it was fun to see how happy he was to see Daddy go in. lol I think we spent $5 on getting Daddy dunked. lol It was $1 for three throws.

Timmy got to ride the ponies 2x's. He didn't want to leave, but by this time, we were soooo tired and ready to go home. I was happy to be near the ponies. I wanted to ride one! I think I convinced the hubby to buy me some riding lessons for next summer. ;-D

Well, here is my little montage of pictures. I didn't get any superb ones due to my camara messing up on me that day. I had a recording of Timmy dunking Daddy, but the batteries "gave out" just as Daddy went down. :-(

We do a dunk tank every year for a United Way fnundraiser. Not only is it a good fundraiser, it's a great morale builder when the team gets to dunk their bosses!

Although I'm in charge of the fundraising part, I don't raise too much money with my dunks .... either I'm entirely too nice, or people fear thier job since I'm HR. lol

Looks like a great time Missy, and you are always so fabulous with your video montages! I wish I could find the time to do those!

I love putting together the little videos. It's fun, and I like the site that I did this one on because I get to upload my own songs. I have plans to do some more, but I am getting the pictures together for that. More like a tribute to some family.

Thank you everyone, and we had a ton of fun. We were expecting rain, and it did rain earlier that morning, but by the time we got there, it was really hot.

Glad y'all had a good time
