lets see...cleaning, um then probably some more cleaning...and then maybe, just maybe I might get to read some of my historical romance novel that I have been wanting to start reading but haven't had a chance. I will either have to bring it in the tub, or wait until everyone is in bed (it's the only time I can read and be left alone)

Today (Sat.) I helped a friend with some chinchillas she rescued (we both raise Chinchillas).
Tomorrow is my parents 34th Anniversary! We're going to Apple Hill for the day. Apple Hill is in Camino, CA. A bunch of Apple Growers (and growers of other fruits, christmas trees, etc.) joined together to open their ranches to the public. There are crafts, apple picking, Christmas Tree cutting, sampling, and AMAZING Apple Cider. I love going to Apple Hill!!

I want to go to Apple Hill! It sounds like so much fun.

I had lunch w/ my mom and sister today, then took Caly out shopping. Then I took all four kids with me to my MIL's to spend the night because Scott has oodles of grading to do and you can't do paperwork with four kids in the house.

Tomorrow, I don't know what I'll do. I think we'll just hang out and relax, although I suppose I'll have to go out if only to get the paper and a pumpkin pie. I'd totally forgot that it was pumpkin time season again and I haven't had any since last winter. So I've decided to get some pie tomorrow just because I can. No, I'm not making it. I'm buying one from Kroger's. Theirs is always better than mine, LOL!

I took Bay and Kristin and Xander shopping for winter clothes. Since it was getting in the 30's tonite I decided it was probably time. The rest of the weekend I will be trying not to freeze my arse off. I DESPISE cold weather....I am SO glad my union suit was at my Aunts house. Not sure why, but she found it there....

I worked midnights all weekend. When I came home from work this AM Devon was sick so I think I'll be watching movies with him tonight instead of going through the toybox like I had planned.

Post by Missy Sun Nov 16, 2008 10:47 pm

My weekend was okay. Friday night was spent cajoling my neighbors. They had witnessed a horrific, fatal crash and were really shook up. We were over there until just after 2 am.

Basically, they pulled up to a stop light on a one way street in the downtown area of my town here and two other cars pulled up next to them. It was obvious by the revving that they were drag racing. They shot forward. As my neighbors watched in horror, one car made it past the next intersection while the second car ran into a SUV. 3 people are listed in critical condition, last we heard, but my one neighbor does not think one of them made it. She is so hurt and upset by it. They called 911 and then spent the next 6 hours with the police. There were 2 children involved, a baby and a 4 year old too! We know that the 4 year old had minor injuries, but not sure on the baby. It's a horrible situation. 3 people sat in the backseat, while 2 sat in the front. We do not know where the baby was, but we know it had to have NOT been in a car seat! Luckily, the SUV hit, the people only had minor injuries. This is just horrible. My neighbors want to know what happened to the people that got hurt. They said they are gonna call the police detective and see if he can at least tell them what's going on with the people.

Saturday was spent lounging, and then grocery shopping. I did great I think. lol

Today was spent just relaxing, watching the BEARS get their butts whooped... sad sad lol

That is awful Missy. I can not for the life of me understand why anyone would not use a car seat.

I am upset for them, because my neighbors have seemed to have really been traumatized by it. Understandable, but it hurts to watch them. We have gotten close to them enough to consider them like family. My girlfriend took me shopping and I could tell the whole time she was not in it. She was just randomly putting stuff in her cart, just to do it. She even made a remark on the way home about how she wasn't too sure on what she did buy. Luckily, I had given her some coupons to save on what she did buy, but still. And today, Tim heard her husband down in the basement (we live in a duplex and our back doors and basements are basically connected) so he went down to talk about decorating the outside this weekend for the holidays. When Tim came up he just looked sad and told me that he (neighbor) just looked tired and out of it. We know that they have been losing sleep. I have not found out any more info on the people in the accident, but all I have been doing is praying.
