no key at all am a level 4 and 1 comb away from my first ever key.

I am not trying to be a bitch here.
I just feel I have already lost out on quite a bit
(40% on my points)
womletts I cant/wont use (really have no extra money TO use)
MORE loss on my points
108 wasted reports (124 under my belt, only 16 used for 'honeycombs'
umpteen swamp excursions that netted me 2 honeycombs. (I know I have visted enough for like 6 or 7. )

NOT to mention having enough reports be in que to be a 4 and get a key for WEEKS, and getting them reviewed shortly after everyone with a golden key was offered the logitech campaign. That still makes me see red.

I just have the one I bought and I am 2 combs from 6 now, I was Tier 4

my sister just hit T3 before the change and got a key before that and bought a key so she has 2 and still has only 2. She is a honey bee 5

came with 2 keys and only has 2 keys after the change

I was a Tier 2. Now I am a level 6. I got my 1st key in the switch over. I did not buy one, because they were all gone.

I was a tier 2 - bought a key - I did not get another key when I was placed in level 6 the other day. I still only have the one key that I bought.

I am a social bee and I got a key.

I just got done reading the BeeLog and maybe there's a clue there to what happened with the keys ...

People were awarded keys for tier movement on the old system ?

It looks like those Bzzers that received a key on the old tier system, did not receive a key with this transition.

However, if you never received a key, and are at a higher level now, you earned one ?

Just guessing here ...

I noticed this yesterday and emailed them. They actually responded quickly. For the record, I was a Tier 2, moved to level 6. Never received a golden key before I purchsed one.


My email to them:
I am sure you are getting a ton of questions right now! Sorry to be one of then
:-( I think I am going to like the changes! I love that you took my years
of WOM with you into account! With the transition, I went from a Tier 2 to a
Level 6. During Shaloha, I purchased a Golden Key. In reading bulletin board
posts, others who went from Tier 2 to Level 6 received a Golden Key because of
the rise from Tier 2 to Level 6. Why do I only show 1 Golden Key then?
Shouldn't I have one for going to Level 6 plus the one I purchased? Would I
have received a Golden Key even if I hadn't purchased one? Did I waste my
Bzzpoints on a Golden Key? Is this a glitch in the system?

The response I received:

Thanks for your email. You actually were not supposed to receive a Golden Key
based on where you are now in the new system. But we can see that there is a
Golden Key only 9 honeycombs away, so as you get to Bzzing you will surely get
one soon!

Can't say I agree with the response....

So it sounds like you have to be a mid-level? level 6 to get a key?

Mine says I'm 11 away.

I'm a level 6 and 13 honeycombs into my level. I show another golden key 2 honeycombs away.

okay so someone needs to check my math.

THose that got a key and had never had one at level 4: ONE

Those that got a key and never had one at tier 5: ONE

Those that got a key and never had one at teir 6: SIX

Those that were put into those levels and had bought keys and got a new one too:

THose that were put into 4 or higher level and had bought keys and DIDNT get one: EIGHTEEN
and a level 4 bzzer was told they would get a key with one more honeycomb.

So, what it means is if you bought one you got screwed out of 'earning' one??

ANd Level 4 is the place you start getting keys. So anyone 4 and higher shoudl have gotten one.

Does anyone else see this? Or am I imagining things?

Keep telling me if you got a key, didnt, etc. I will add to the totals.

Carpenter bee's are 2's right? so they probebly dont get given one?

Tier 1 no key-now Level 6 with one key and an early invite. And my next Golden Key is 11 honeycombs away.

Not to worry about it, as we have received an abundance of emails due to the switch over to BzzPerks (far more than normal) but we are working hard to get through them all. Our engineering team is aware of this issue and they will get it taken care of.

Hi All, I'm brand new here! I just found y'all the other day. But I was looking for this exact answer when I found you!

So, here are my stats:

I was Tier 2, now I'm a Social Bee - Level 5

I did purchase my first golden Key on May 22.

I did not get one during the switch to the new system. My Status page is telling me that I'm 2 honeycombs away from Level 6 and 7 from my next golden key.

I've emailed the Hive also (on Monday evening), and Have not heard back anything at all!
