thebigscott's big day/weekend
Hope it's a great day and that you receive lots of new gift wrap (wouldn't you like that wrapped around a gift as well?)
And Happy Easter, Anniversary, and Scott's birthday... got to say it all now because I won't be around much over the weekend.

I was looking for more avatars and saw this. Of course I thought of you Karen. Consider it a virtual box of crap for your birthday:

Re: thebigscott's big day/weekend
Thank you so much!!!
I had a very nice birthday. Scott watched the babies in the morning and let me sleep in, then we went over to my mother-in-laws and the kids kicked us out for a few hours while they got ready. So we went to see a movie (Vantage Point, which I liked very much) and to a book store then came back. They had decorated the house with balloons and streamers, and baked a cake designed to look like a volcanic island (read that as lots of icing and candies all over it). My parents were there as well, and we opened presents. Scott got mostly cooking gadgets (because he likes to cook) and I got mostly books, and of course my wrapping paper, which I loved. Then Scott's mom gave us each $50, and my parents did, too! I was so happy, because money has been tight and it feels good to know we have a little cushion for unexpected expenses. And I didn't change a single diaper all day! But I did have to help clean up after the party
Today we just mostly ate candy from the Easter baskets, and had a nice dinner with my mother-in-law. My parents had gone to see my sister, but popped in to say hello and wish us well. We didn't do anything for our anniversary, but I'm thinking we'll go out to dinner later on in the week when things have settled down a bit. The little ones had sugar highs and were crazy so we didn't feel comfortable leaving them with the older two and grandma (who's recovering from a heart catheterization). But I kinda liked that it wasn't a big deal. And yesterday's cake did have the 18, on it... so all in all it was a good weekend, if a bit hectic.
I hope all your Easter plans went as well if not better!

Sounds like a nice weekend. And not changing a diaper all day? Wow! I remember how I would kill for a day like that!
Re: thebigscott's big day/weekend
I just got my happy birthday e-mail from BzzAgent, and it had a picture of the BzzAgent Bee with a birthday hat on, but I can't figure out how to show it to you!!
I liked it even better than that Big Scott you found LOL!

I think they sent one to me this year too. It was kind of a nice thing to get!
Re: thebigscott's big day/weekend
Yeah, what's up with the card? I've had two birthdays since being a BzzAgent and I didn't see any cards

Karen, it sounds as if you and Scott had a wonderful combined birthday weekend... your family really cares about you and they sure went all out to prove it.

Maybe it's a new thing? My birthday was just in February... Or maybe you're marked as a trouble maker over at the hiveDee aka bizzeedee wrote:Yeah, what's up with the card? I've had two birthdays since being a BzzAgent and I didn't see any cards

My BD is also Feb... and me? a trouble maker? I grew up known as the trouble maker, funny you should say that. Youngest of 3, and all I had to do was scream and my brother would immediately be blamed... My older sister has told me stories of how easily I could get her and my brother in trouble for "picking" on the brat (her words, not mine... I am not a brat... just the youngest child )
