So I lost my mind today....

It was HOT and my ac went out again. DH is a mechanic, but my stuff gets fixed last. My car has been making a weird noise forever, and shifting funny, SO It was the last straw, I totally lost it and bought this.....




Totally crappy pic because I took it with my phone, noone knows where my camera is. Dh was ticked....until he drove it. He came back and said " that car has some balls". Then I told him it was an '08, and not an 09, and he was happy. And NO I did not get the $2.99 gas....I got the incentives and paid just under 18K.

The thing Is, I can't....I mean, I CAN, but it is coming out of my savings.Let's say I would have rathered not. But I do like the color....i might end up divorced over it, but it's pretty.

LOL edbson! Girl, you cant live with out AC, summer hasnt even started yet.
Those 3 days of fall and 3 days of spring we get are SOOO nice, but they are so few and far between that you gotta have AC!!

I'd love to be able to do that, and much as I hate that you had to use savings, at least you are now able to get a decent vehicle that wont need work for a year or two. (unless yours is like mine and only works on things that DONT need work, and then doesnt finish the job.... )

And I have heard the 2.99 gas isnt worth it. Too much hasle.

Tell him you were just thinking of him, and since he is SOO busy and doesnt have any time with you or the kids, you didnt want him to have to spend it working on your car. Thts just not fair to him. and this way you can save extra money on gas, and with your running around for fabric and running the kids all over you think it will be less expensive i the long run. Plus if you use it for business you can take milage on it. And I am sure your business is a loss at this point. That will make for a better loss.

LOL beachy, the familys always called it 'a good line of bull shit'

It was a total impulse thing, sort of, we had been discussing it for a little while, but made no decisions. . I called Dh complaining abut my a/c and he said so go buy a new car! He was joking, I took him seriously. I can say the look on the salesman's face when I took out 3 huge carseats, to make sure they all fit, was priceless.
I did find out for future reference that you CAN fit a Britax Marathon, a Sunshine kids Radian, and a Recaro convertible in the backseat. It's a tight fit, but they do fit.
