What a riot of expressions... that child loves the camera! She's adorable. Nice job catching those action shots

And darn it all, I missed th whole entire party, didn't I? Had to be at the hospital with a grandchild- probably going to be doing a surgery- trying to decide what to do as we speak. Just home for a few and back to the hospital. Could be either the appendix or gallbladder.

Thank you! She's a lot of fun, but she's either moving or screaming all the time. It was hard to take pictures because I was laughing so hard.
Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
Well that's certainly good to know! My shuffle was postmarked Boston, but I didn't get charged duty, but I have heard of Canadians who get charged $20 duty on rewards that only cost around $20. If that had been me I would have refused delivery! I want to say my kits are postmarked Mississauga, but maybe another Canadian agent could confirm that?
Writing gift on a package sometimes works, sometimes not. I think it depends on the customs agent who happens to check the package.
Now what about all the other Canadian issues? Where's the map we've been promised for years? Why do we a lot fewer capmaigns, but work at the same top 100 list as the Americans? That's like comparing apples to oranges.
BTW, I'm still dressed for the occassion -- you can see I'm in my toga here -- and I'm having some snacks and ruining my appetite for supper!

Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, my cat hopped up onto my lap on the couch and I didn't want to move. For those that don't know yet, I just found out that she probably has feline luekemia. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old and I'm not taking the news well.
Anyway, back to the party!
Like a lot of you, I'm also worried that they haven't pinned down a date yet. Makes me more than a little nervous...

Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be putting supper on the table for the kids in a few minutes, but I don't work until 11 PM so I'll be disappearing sometime before then. Hopefully early enough to get a nap in!
Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
Rebecca, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. It's horrible to lose a pet, I know, I've lost 3, and it never gets any easier. But wait... you still have him, and who knows, maybe he'll (isn't it awful I'm assuming it's a he, ours was an Smale)... make a comeback. Sure hope so.
Oh, and if I spilled anything on your toga, it wouldn't stain, I drink white wine

Rebecca, I'm so sorry about your kitty
Karen- love the pictures, she is adorable
Yeah canadians! I'd be pissed if I ordered a key chain and had to pay 20 bucks for it, lol. Do you guys have to pay duty on your bzzkits too?

Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
No. I think they come from Mississauga (just outside of Toronto) so we're lucky there.
Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
You know, the more I think about this the more I realize how right you are. I'm thrilled that they've arranged a way around us paying duty on rewards, but I really don't feel confident about them not being able to pin down a date. I appreciate Joe's honesty in that, but there must be a reason why they can't get a date.chelle wrote:naw, I am proud for the northern neighbors, but think its just one more post in a long line of BS.
Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
How long has this 'new system coming soon' thing been going on for. Seems to me that it's been going on for a while.
I've got a cold today and feel cranky. My head is spinning; I have a sore throat; My nose is starting to run.
Sometimes I wonder how serious they are about Canada. When the UK joined in, they got their own Bzz site. Not so with Canadians. Do they have people actively looking for campaigns in Canada? A while ago they advertised a new partnership or something with Rogers. I haven't heard anything about it since.
Can you tell I'm cranky? Sorry.

Re: BEE LOG POST PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
Rogers? I HATE Rogers! Worst customer service in Canada!
This new system thing started a few years ago. Things have actually appeared to be in motion for the past month or so.
