THIS is what I hate driving in

FOG, and OMG it sems like it is everyday lately. Bay took this pic about halfway up the bridge, you could not see the top of the one we were on, or most of the other, taller one. It feels as if you will drive off into nothing.

I don't mind fog. Scott always says, "it's looking froggy out," when it's foggy. And the roads don't get slick. I think that's what I hate about driving in snow. You can't stop quickly because the roads are slick, but you can't see what's ahead so that you can brake slowly. And of course you worry about driving too slow because someone could drive into you. Of course mostly here we only get foggy mornings and then it burns off quickly. I doubt I'd enjoy driving in a big city when it was foggy out.

Erin and Karen, agree with you both... fog you just have no idea if there is someone 5 feet in front of you, and snow... you're right, can't always tell whether or no you can stop.

I just like driving on bright, sunny days... which we had today, thank you very much Mother Nature !

The thing is, there is nowhere to stop on either of these bridges, and everyone is going 80 mph no matter the weather.....and when it is foggy, it is freaky.

That wouldn't be fun at all! You'd think people would realize what a risk they are taking.
