American Idol - revisited
I'm boycotting AI, but would appreciate reading in the morning how it goes... I've lost Michael Johns, so now I'm hoping that folks aren't stupid enough to vote off Jason Castro... I realize the vote isn't tonight, but would like to hear how the reviews go... if you don't mind. Thanks.

Re: American Idol - revisited
I'm afraid I won't be any help at all to you this week as I won't be watching either, though not for the same reason!
I just flipped over to it and immediately turned back to the hockey game when I saw Mariah Carey as the "mentor" this week! I absolutely detest this woman (and I do wish she would invest in some clothes that cover more skin than they reveal)! Her voice, like that of Whitney Houston, actually makes me cringe and I always, always, always turn the radio off whenever one of her songs comes on!
So, I guess I'll be checking in here as well on Thursday!

My TV obsession is HOCKEY!!!!!! I can live without everything else on the boob tube (my father used to call it the idiot box and he'd sure be using that term a lot to describe it these days if he was still alive)!

Idiot Box...it's a generational term I'm obsessed with reality TV, but not all -- just AI, BB, Survivor, Beauty & the Geek. hmmm, I think that's all -- or enough!

Re: American Idol - revisited
I have to say everyone here locally is David Cook CRAZY!! He's from Blue Springs, MO, which is where I grew up and graduated from High School (it's about 30 miles away from where I am right now)! So, I think we're just biased a little.
Re: American Idol - revisited
One of my friends brothers was the pastor of his church! So, he's a little biased too! LOL!

Amy, where are you? There are two of us already from the Ozarks. I am between Pomona and Peace Valley, and fergui is in Ava. Of course huibby and I love David Cook, yes because he is from Blue Spring, but mostly because he rocks!!

Re: American Idol - revisited
We are LOVING David Cook here in WI...my brother in law actually is voting for the first time this season because he loves him! I was a huge fan of David A's at the beginning of the season, but he's starting to get just a little annoying, but I think he definitely has a career in Christian Rock ahead of him! I like Brooke, but I just don't think she's got long left, unfortunately.

Currently I'm in Overland Park, KS. We just moved here a month ago from Independence, MO. (Independence is right next to Blue Springs as far as cities go).
I LOVE the Ozarks!!
Re: American Idol - revisited
Tuned in with maybe 5 minutes left in the show and I'm so very, very, very happy here!
That horrible Kristy Lee is gone, gone, gone - no way she should have gotten this far!
Who will be next???????????

Re: American Idol - revisited
How in the heck could the voters have gotten it sssssoooooo wwwwrrrroooonnnnnggggg last night and have Syesha and Carly in the bottom 2 when clearly it should have been Jason and Brooke who both had really bad performances?
This has been such a disappointing last few weeks on AI ... not sure how much more I can take - next week it has to be either Jason or Brooke to go, if not I may not bother watching the rest of the shows!
Canadian Idol will be starting up again soon ....... but most of you guys south of our mutual border don't get it I'm sure.
