I think they will all get work, but he's easiest to sell, he's already got his own 'tude!

Re: American Idol!
I actually asked the ManBeast prior to the first performance if he thought one of the Davids might throw the competition to let the other one win. He kinda said no way. After watching the show I'm not too sure. Archuleta?SP does have an amazing voice, and they both have guaranteed careers. Each one shines in their own special way... I guess we have to wait and see. Does the public take all past performances into consideration, or are they supposed to vote just on last night's performance?

Re: American Idol!
I'm not a big Idol watcher, I love the auditions then once the actual show starts I stop watching. (Though I do love Simon Cowell)
Now if you asked about "Hell's Kitchen" I'm all over that.

Re: American Idol!
Personally, David A is my fav, has been for a long time. David C is alright, but there's a lot of singers out there like him.

I really hope that David Cook wins it. Archie is way too boring.

Re: American Idol!
Too funny Dee
I think David A will win, but he puts me to sleep I can't quite see him being a pop star either, he is a one trick pony. He can only sing elevator music. He has never once rocked it out, nor sang country, blues, nothing but slow stuff. Young girls vote though and they like him. I get a gay vibe off him myself. My teenage daughter says there is always one that seems gay but says he is straight lol.

David A reminds me of the scarecrow from wizard of oz...no brain..fumbles words...
Re: American Idol!
I know One thing, this finale is way too long. What's the deal with the blonde/black haired chick? Is she drunk, she sounds really tipsy.... I hope she is not going on tour.

Re: American Idol!
What is a sad is that the majority of american idol final 12 already had recording contracts. Seems that information got promptly (ripped off like some 60's prom dress) from the internet. As for the final show, Donna Summer - great singer - could ditch a few pounds. Gladys - I love her pips. George Michael - well. And last but not least that Canadian fellow, Adams - I think was his last name and

Just got home from bunco and when I couldn't find on the internet who won, came here because I knew I'd find the answer. I'm not sure I'm happy with the results... David C is too hard rock for my tastes but then David A is like someone said, e an levator type singer. I think if he could reach outside the box, he could go a long way.
actually, I guess I'm not happy at all. I liked Michael John and Jason Castro and basically quit watching, seriously, after both were eliminated.
Guess I'm glad it's over, now I have So You Think You Can Dance and America's Got Talent to look forward to

Re: American Idol!
I stopped watching but would watch youtube because I liked Michael Johns too. That is when I stopped.
Re: American Idol!
Earlier on Wednesday I'd "reluctantly" predicted David A to win it .......... so I was quite pleasantly proved wrong when David C won it quite handily by 12,000,000 votes!
Quite looking forward to Canadian Idol starting here in early June (which I have to say I think is a better product)....... sorry to those of you south of the border, but I think our version is more about the talent than the "hype" but most of you probably aren't able to view it as I'm sure it doesn't get US TV coverage while one of our major Canadian networks airs AI.

Re: American Idol!
I have never seen a single episode of American Idol, Survivor or any of these types of shows. Nothing against those people that enjoy them, but they are just not my shot of whiskey.
