things are great with my marriage and but my ex wants out of his support payments. which I am fine wtih I just want sole custody. He's never been there anyway I want it finalized. I can find how to do everything but that on the net

Here It used to be (this was when I was little) you petitioned the court for sole cusody. OR if your new husband wants to adopt, the bio father has to sign away rights.

But in a differnt country I cant imagine the laws.

No clue on how it works in Canada, but I hope you win. If he's not meeting his responsibilities he doesn't deserve custody.
