What's for supper tonight?

Pizza. and lots of munchies. Bunco tonight, and I'm not hosting, so I get to enjoy all the fruits and labors of our host this month! Doesn't get much better than that!

Heck, Kath, that's a lot more solid than the foods I was eating when I was sans most of my teeth ... more power to you. Must be feeling better, yeah? Hope so.

I have a whole mouthful of teeth.. have had since day one.. they are just useless.. no liners til monday..

I don't know yet. I am in a bad mood and have been since I woke up to tornadoes going over again. Then when I tried to go out to pay a bill, I almost couldn't find a road that wasn't flooded. That made me really crabby! No mail due to flooding too, I hate that! I am now drinking a big glass of wine and not thinking about supper

Isn't it fun!! I'm surprised we even had school today! There's more coming tonight, so be careful!

Oh, and we are having pizza. Quick, easy and no thought process....love it!!

Ordered in tonight, hockey playoffs are on and who wants to be stuck cooking in the kitchen when one could instead be parked in front of the tube getting her hockey fix!!!

Mac 'n cheese, salad, steaks! And ice cream floats for dinner. (vanilla ice cream, Caly's getting cream soda... I'm making a pink cow.)

Hubby's grilling burgers and we're making fries..
he and I won't eat the fries but the kids will

He makes the best damn burgers I ever had.. and I love grilled (in canada we call it barbecue) food!!!

LOL! They deserved it! It was warm last night and they had Lacrosse practice, PLUS they had gotten good report cards, so I decided to reward them!

Tonight is fend for yourself night LOL. I'll make the baby something..the 10 year old is spending the night at a friends. The 16/14 year old will make thier own dinner.

Hubby & I.. no idea what we'll have yet. We'll likely be eating a bit later since he's not done work until around 7pm.

Tonight is Hot Dogs. I'm being lazy, and we had pizza night already this week (to celebrate my 12 year olds team winning the Reading Olympics! (kind of like a Quiz Bowl)).

my last frozen container of potato-chili soup... guess it's time for me to make more. After two months of that, I need a weekly (or more often) hit. Salad for dh... I'm not doing salads at this time, too much of a chewing challenge!

I make really good red beans. Too bad you aren't close enough to come on over kath. I have a big pot and they are soft enough for you too. I think.

I'll fill you in tomorrow (although I "think" it might be in a earlier thread, like from about a month ago! ... don't feel bad, I don't remember a lot of stuff either).

Time for me to get out for my walk, 69, sunny, and very, very windy! Your storms stayed south of us today, but much of Middle TN was under tornado watch/warning/here it comes, all day long.

Karen, also noticed, I think, heavy storms in middle KY... you okay?

I bumped my original message about the soup... look in chit chat, title recipes. It's a combination of a printed potato soup recipe and I just add a container of chili from my favorite burger place (or you could use home made chili)... I prefer Rally Burger Chili. And luckily, have enough for one more bowl tomorrow. Dang, I'm addicted to that stuff, guess that's what happens when you eat something 'every night' for 6 weeks or better !

I sent a copy of the post over to the recipes board so it's easier to find.

Since I worked last night, slept today, and dh worked today it was take out night for us.

Worked late so brought in a Mediterranean Greek salad (got them to add extra red onion, black olives & feta cheese to it) and had a fruit & nut bar for dessert - positively yummy and nothing to wash up 'cause I even used a plastic fork!
