Re: SNOW!!!
Wow! That's a lot of snow! I hope you enjoy it while it lasts! I can't believe you have more snow than we do (we have none anymore)! It hasn't even been overly cold out here (well not close to what it usually is here by now) except for the odd day/night.

Re: SNOW!!!
It looks like good packing snow-tell her to get on that snowman, it could be never before the next opportunity.
Saige and Rob built an entire snow family (I think he thinks if they roll enough dirty snow from the driveway, he wont have to plow) the other day. I like when they build snowpeople, it almost promises that it gets warm enough to melt the next day, lol.

Re: SNOW!!!
Well we are supposed to get up to 10 in tomorrow night, Jayson isn't happy because they will probably be cancelling Snowball for tomorrow night. I thought I would post pics of how it is this fine morning here...

I woke my kids up at 5:15 and sent them outside!!
They destroyed all of my yard and now they are at my moms playing in hers!
I am doing the pics now.
Bow LOVED it. He got SOOO mad when I made him come inside. LOL
of course we will be in the 70's and maybe 80's by Sunday.

Re: SNOW!!!
Lmao Chelle, we ade snow angels at 3 am, while it was snowing/sleeting.It is already melting, and almost gone now, school was delayed 2 hours, so i took her in at 9:30, AFTER we went to walmart to get shoes, she played in all of her shoes and they were all wet and muddy. So now I have a mountain of wet and muddy clothes to wash, everytime she got wet and cold she came in and changed.....sigh, i want summer.

Re: SNOW!!!
It was great that you were able to enjoy it while it was there, and now enjoy the fact that it goes away quickly. Though I love the scenery in winter I wish we didn't have snow from Nov until May... It also gets dull after months of everything being in shades of grey, black and white..by the time spring rolls around we are so depressed and ready for the color that spring brings..my favorite color in the whole world is the color green that the leaves are when they bud out...so bright and pretty..

Re: SNOW!!!
We have a cold, cold rain that looks like it may last for 4 or 5 years. I know it won't, but it has that heavy, gray-skied, funk to it that makes it seem permanent. I wish it was either a few degrees colder so it would snow, or a heck of a lot warmer.
Re: SNOW!!!
Karen we are getting the same thing up here, i swear it has rained for a week straight. it was 51 yesterday 37 today. it really needs to make up its mind either be cold and stay that way or stay warm

Re: SNOW!!!
I have about the same amount of snow as Kelly. We really haven't been getting that much here this year either. The weather has been really weird and warming up just enough to melt the snow a day or two after it falls. Oh well, hopefully we'll get more soon!
Re: SNOW!!!
We got freezing rain all last night and again all day today.
Schools were cancelled Monday and again today because of icy roads.

Re: SNOW!!!
Well the temp finally dropped and it's really coming down out there! I'm thinking they might cancel school tomorrow.
Re: SNOW!!!
I know I promised pictures.
But I just spent 4 hours putting them on my blog. So, I hate to ask. But to see them you will have to go there. I just am so tired. Been up since 4am.

I think I duplicated some... and left others out.

Re: SNOW!!!
I am seriously completely shocked! Texas and LA have all that snow and we have just had one light dusting a few weeks ago? LOL... We are expecting our first real snow tonight...
That snow angel is so beautiful and looking at the accumalation on Chelles railings... I am truly stunned!

Re: SNOW!!!
Not that it's unusual or anything but here's mine this morning, much more now it's been coming down. Made the hour drive to the hospital quite scary and much longer, lol, but it sure looked pretty in the yard.
Re: SNOW!!!
Great pictures, everyone. Chelle, I looked at yours, and the baby sitting on the snowball are just too cute. He looks so happy to be there.

Re: SNOW!!!
Very nice pics--- We had a huge ice storm here in Ma -- my basement got flooded with a foot of water and My hubby and I have been pumping since last night. there was no school yesterday --why is it when there is school the kids don't want to get up -but when there is no school there up at 6pm bouncing off the walls... (go figure) My sister won't have her power back unitl maybe Monday if she is lucky -- most of my town lost power -thank goodness we didn't (because we would have been swimming in the basement)..

Re: SNOW!!!
Wow. I can't believe all the snow. Yesterday our temp was up to 16C (60ishF) and today it's around 12C (53ishF). This is NOT normal temps for my area. LOL We are all usually wearing winter jackets, hats and mitts around Halloween. Mind you on Thursday it was freaking cold outside, and was freezing rain (but no snow, LOL). All the ice went away with the warm weather yesterday. LOL

Re: SNOW!!!
Thank y'all!
and yes, Bow was PISSED when I made him come in.
yesterday (the day after the snow) there was still snow on the ground in places. But I wore a short sleeve shirt all day. it was in the 60's
Actually today, over half that snowball is still out there.
