Free $15 FTD gift card

Did you all see that each time you redeem your MyPoints for any gift card the month of December you get a free $15 FTD gift card? I redeemed for 3 GC's the other day and each one said there was a FTD card included. I usually don't redeem that often, due to lack of points, I just let them build up. So, I guess I will have $45 to use at FTD..nice birthday present for mom Jan 4th. Plus you can get 750 points at FTD.

I got that and I thought it was really cool... wrong! I was thinking an inexpensive arrangement might be a nice gift for my aunt. So I tried it out. First off, you have to go to the web address on the card to use it. You don't get to it by logging in through myPits. Then there's a nice list of very attractive and inexpensive arrangements. But those are your only choices. The offer is good ONLY on the selection shown. I didn't see where I could find out what the shipping rates were before I made my choice. So I picked a cute candy cane and mini-rose plant deal for $14.99 and went to checkout just to see what the shipping, etc would be. Well apparently the $14.99 is the price after the discount (you won't be able to stack them) and delivery is $15, so it was $30 even with the discount and no added myPits.

Well doesn't that just suck..I should have known there was a catch somewhere. Oh well..they might make good pot scratchers...lol

That stinks! I got excited thinking I needed to go redeem my points. Then I read the catch.

No online codes you can add to make the shipping go away?

I chucked the FTD card out as soon as I saw it. I knew there would be a million restrictions on using it. Thanks for confirming for us though, Karen.
