Christmas card pic
Awhile ago at the Dollar store I picked up a couple pkgs of Christmas cards, the kinds you slip the photo into. I bought them as a quick thought knowing that i wouldn't end up getting photocards done anywhere because it never fails, I never do. So anyway last night I took the pic that will go in them. I'm not a proffessional photographer, but they are just going to family anyway. They turned out cute, except my son won't smile for anything, even bribes. He thinks if he smiles that he won't look manly... (sheesh)

Cute, Kelly! I agree, it's very hard to get an older teen to smile. At least the males.

You have good looking kids Kelly, the furry one in the middle looks just like you!
Re: Christmas card pic
So cute!
My youngest brother does not smile in pics. He only did a half smile in his grad pics for my Mom.

Re: Christmas card pic
My hubby teases him because in almost every one of his pictures, he has the same expression. Hubby says it's a sad little refugee look. Either that or the George W Bush wrinkled forehead confused look. It's like that in every picture. One of these times I am going to catch him off guard and maybe get a smile.

Re: Christmas card pic
LOL Karen. Kelly, I am completely jealous of Wynonna's hair- it is red isn't it? I LOVE red hair. I secretly hoped for redheaded children (my uncle, the oddball had red hair so I held out hope for the possibility, maybe the next one....lol)
Re: Christmas card pic
LOL
Karen, the lips look like they've been transplanted from an albino.

Re: Christmas card pic
They're Zoe's lips from the haircut picture, LOL. I just looked for a smile and it was the first one I saw. Maybe I should take them from your avatar!?!
Re: Christmas card pic
LOL For sure! Maybe that would even put a real smile on his lips when he sees it!

Re: Christmas card pic
lol you are all too funny ! Karen that was HILARIOUS! I have to show it to him...
Tara, Wynonnas hair is naturally light brown with red highlights, she decided a month or so ago that she wanted to dye it dark auburn.. Though everyone in our family has stubborn red highlights that they can't get rid of. No matter what color I color my hair it ends up a red.dish tone. When I don't color it ,and the sun shines on it it looks like it's on fire, otherwise it looks like a non-descript medium brown...

Re: Christmas card pic
Great picture! I so need to do one of my family.
I have the opposite problem with my teen. I have custody of my almost 15yr old nephew. Every time I take a picture of him he has to readjust his hair and pose. By pose I mean a full out pose like he was going to be on the cover of a magazine!!! He says he has to make sure he looks good! hahaha!
