Positive thoughts appreciated!

Tomorrow my company will be laying off people. First, if you could say a quick prayer for all those affected, and second if you could say a quick prayer that I get to keep my job!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. It seems as if so many people are losing jobs. But I will definitely say those prayers for you all. Having been through it, I can tell you that it is survivable. With a lot of careful planning, you can usually make it for a while on unemployment payments plus food stamps, and any other help you can get. And DON'T feel bad if you should ever need government assistance. You have paid in year after year through your taxes. It's for circumstances just like this.

That has to be horrible. How many people are dreading going in to work tomorrow?
