What are your plans for the week-end?
My husband and I are going to dinner tonight then the casino. We start out going w/another couple and now it's 2 couples.. very much looking forward to some adult conversation and fun since it's me and the 23 month old all day...that's tonights plans. Tomorrow we are having friends over for either cards or a board game.. they have 2 children so the kids all play board games or cards in the living room while the adults play at the kitchen table.
Sunday hubby is off work so I got a small 'honey-do' list for him I have plans to take the kids to the park while he's working on that.
Thats my weekend ..for now anyways.. as tired as I'm feeling right now just typing it out and thinking about it makes me wanna nap!
luv,
Darlene

Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
It's Alumni Weekend at the University I graduated from so I will be spending the weekend there! I'm really excited to catch up with all of my old friends and hang out in the old town. I'm sure Monday will come much too soon and I'll probably need a vacation. I'm excited!

Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
I still feel pretty rocky, so I am going to do a lot of nothing, I think?
But that is not necessarily a bad thing..

No plans here. I think hubby is going to work on the deck tomorrow. Tory leaves to go back at school at about 11 am. I will likely call my sister and yak for hours, besides cooking, cleaning and watching tv. So exciting!

Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
Work all night, sleep all day -- that's my weekend routine here! I think I'm going to try to stay up after I get home from work tomorrow AM so that I can go out for breakfast with dh and the kids, but we'll see how well that plan goes...
Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
Hope you all don't mind if I jump in!
Am I the only one that watches Battlestar Galatica? With all the Sci Fi fans, I expected to see some posts about the season premiere/final season! LOL! So, that's what i'm doing with hubby at 10 tonight.
Tomorrow is yard work if it's not raining, cleaning the closet if it is.
Sunday we have a Lacrosse game for my 2 youngest and maybe food shopping and a hike if we have time (I need the excercise, my brother is getting married in June and I still have 10-15 lbs to lose!)

Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
My dh has called dibs on the TV for BG tonight so I'll probably be tooling around on the computer until it's time to go to work.
Oh and by all means, jump right in!

Same for me... sun is SUPPOSE to come out, and so will work outdoors, but if not, closet transfer (winter to spring/summer) sounds like a plan!

Kath, considering how many teeth you had pulled, I think you should do what my dentist advised me... do nothing for at least 5 days... give your body time to recover.
So you have mine and my dentist's permission to do nothing more than relax, work on your blogs, check in and post here, and let your husband fend for himeself!
Amen!

If you told us where you live, I don't remember... what Casino do you frequent?
And what kinds of card games (with adults) do you enjoy playing? We like hand and foot...
By now, you're probably out enjoying the company of other adults, so look forward to hearing your answer in the morning.

I'm rather boring then too Kath, those are my kind of games. I get lost for hours playing literati on yahoo because my kids aren't old enough and my husband refuses to playing anything that involves spelling.

Scarlett or Darlene .. doesn't matter
I like Euchre.. another one we play called Sh*t.. and Cribbage are the main..
I live in Arizona .. we usually go to Gila River casino or Casino Arizona. We much prefer Gila river. We were insane to go on a friday night.. holy carp! Normally we go on a Sunday night or Monday night as it's not so busy.. we actually attempted both last night and it was just a mad house! We ended up not losing as much as we had planned ..and so will probably venture back out Sunday night .

I love Battlestar, but even though I recorded it last night via DVR, I didn't get to watch it. Maybe Monday. I'm out of town while my husband works on our bathroom ceiling... which fell in yesterday.
It's not as bad as it sounds. We had storm damage last weed that ripped the shingles off the roof and damaged the ceiling. We knew it was about to fall in, so Scott was going to tear it down and fix it this weekend anyhow. But it was exciting when it just gave in. (No one was in there, thank God.) Any how, my weekend is gonna be chasing babies, entertaining bigger kids, and not much more.
And Kath, your kind of boring sounds perfect to me... one day we'll get together IRL and read and play scrabble and other things which soothe the soul.
Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
Balderdash is a seriously fun game.. and I love scrabble...
I get to play now and then with a group of friends from work...
it gets to be hilarious!
I am very bad at trivial pursuit...but there is a book version i would like to try
I play word games online too... no one here to play them with..
but i have fun doing it.

Re: What are your plans for the week-end?
For me it's been a very busy weekend. I've got quite a few bzz reports to submit. I've only had time to do 2 today so far. I got a notebook in my purse w/jotted down conversations w/who and what was said.
I am praying for a more relaxing weekend next week!

I'm still at my mother-in-law's house! But Scott is almost finished with the roof... so I'm hoping to catch it tonight.
