Please add to the prayers...

My Mom and Step-father have a friend that was diagnosed with cancer last year. He fought and went to treatment, but sadly, it did not help. He has recently been put on oxygen and last weekend given one more week to a month left. Sadly, he will be leaving behind a wife and three children, oldest about 14, youngest just turned 5. We all know it is inevitable, but I would like to ask that others keep him and his family in their prayers as they get through these trying times. Thank you to everyone.

This site is great. I can feel comfortable sharing things, and not feel like I will be judged for it. I can ask for prayers (for those that do) or to be kept in thoughts. Thank you to everyone for being such a loving, lovable bunch.

Thank you all. Last I talked to my Mom, it seems like he is in the last stages, and hospice is not expecting it to be much longer... Each night is a blessing in a way for him to still be here.

I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Sad to say that my Mom's friend has lost the fight last night. He can now rest peacefully. I am waiting to hear details, though I don't think I will be able to make the services. I did let my Mom know that I am there for her, and I will be sending the family a condolences card out Monday.

I am so sorry missy. I hope the family is able to feel the love that you and others have for them, it will be the best thing to get them through these trying times.
