MyPoints e-mail question. Empty MyPoints e-mail question.

OK, I've finallly decided to do the bonus mail from MyPoints because I am super close to having enough points for a gift card and I'm sick of waiting for the stupid pending stuff. So, which e-mail subscriptions do I turn on? Bonus mail and survey mail? Or all of them? Or only Bonus mail?

I get them both, but I usually delete the surveys. lol
If I'm away from email for a few days, and they get overwhelming, I've been known to just delete them instead of clicking them, but honestly, it only takes a minute and I make about 20 points a day.

I'm sitting on over 33,000 points and I'm still undecided on what to cash them in for!

Don't delete the surveys. Take them but try to disqualify. Then ya still get 10 points.

I have no fear of qualifying- I have NEVER made it through an OTX, never so like Lori said, I try to DQ as quickly as possible for my 10 points. It usually says 50 for the whole thing anyway- not worth my time.

What about the other e-mails? You don't get points off anything but bonus e-mail and surveys, right?

Pretty much every e-mail they send gives opportunities for points. Almost all are pay-to-click, most are 5 points for clicking plus additional points for participating in the offer (take a survey, sign up for a newsletter etc.) A few don't give you anything for clicking, just for signing up for the offer.

The e-mail always tells you what points are associated with it, & when the offer expires. If you sign up for any offer, make sure to save any e-mail sent by the partner site (i.e. sign up for a newsletter, save the Welcome e-mail.) You'll need this if MyPoints doesn't credit you properly for the offer.
