Ugh ... I so hate packing!

We leave Saturday morning for San Antonio.... and I haven't even packed up half the house yet. I'm dreading the whole move

However.... we did need a bigger vehicle when we get down there for when family is coming, and we scored on a 1999 Ford Expedition! Wahoo! Now, off to sell our Taurus.... good thing we have 7 people lined up to see it today. Surely it's got to sell!

Best of luck to you. I hate packing to move also. During our last move, I had weeks to pack up, but did very little. I did regret it as we moved to another state and packing would have made it easier lol. It wasn't the first time either, you would think I would learn

The last move I did was done in a hurry, I had only a couple hours to pack (long story and very drama-filled) so we ended up losing some things. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you sell your car!

heck, if I had the money and you were near me, I'd be all about checking it out. My car needs to be replaced.. lol

I hate moving, but since I am a Navy brat I can pack and move a whole house in hours..........LOL. If I was closer I would come help.

Every time I move, I swear never again. Probably shouldn't do that. Hopefully, YOUR move will go smooth and in a few weeks, it'll all be behind you. And remember the Alamo!

I actually had over a month to pack, and did I do much? Uh... yes and no.

Oh, and learned a FANTASTIC tip by accident! Make a reservation w/ both Penske & Uhaul. Uhaul will be cheaper, they always are. Cancel the Penske reservation, and they'll ask why you're canceling Tell them how much cheaper you found another reservation, and they'll beat that price. SWEET!!

I haven't moved in 19 years, and the next move WILL be the last. Got any idea how much crap you accumulate after 19 years.,??

I hate moving! Last time we moved dh decided that he was going to have a stress free move. That meant that I had to pack everything. The boys were 2 and 3 at the time so they were unpacking faster than I was packing. I managed to get the kids and I packed and then he asked what I was going to do with the rest of the stuff. I replied, "nothing," and he started packing in a big hurry!

Our last move the company paid for movers! I don't know that I could afford that on my own, but it is the BEST way to go!!! Especially if you are moving a house and three kids! LOL!
