ok now I'm angry My Points suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going back and forth with mypoints... they jipped me 550 points for signing up for ING. I did it THROUGH the bonus email link- they say? I didn't. I was extra sure I did it that way because of the back and forth one of the members here posted. I can see the clickthrough I got 5 points but the 545 for following through on the offer never showed. I waited the 30 days and now they say I can't have the points.... I keep getting the same form email as a response. Oh and they keep telling me not to send anymore email. That really sent me over the edge, until then I was factual and polite. So I sat down and wrote an email and sent it to them 30 times. I also started forwarding them my junk email. Sorry to all of you that will get your shitty CS from them even later now.....

I am beyond pissed off- I could have signed up (*and SHOULD have*) through send earnings or inbox dollars, both offered a bigger incentive but I thought I should give mypoints a chance. I can't seem to find a phone number for them... should have been the first clue what kind of shoddy business doesn'[t have a phone contact in 2008? a crappy one. What kind of company links themselves with another company that has no contact info... wonder how they all set ot up in the first place. Maybe phone numbers are reserved only for affliates that send more victims their way.

Wow! I am so glad I read this. Here I was thinking this afternoon that even though I didn't like the pay rate for BzzAgent reports, maybe I should be working other, better paying aspects of MyPoints and try to make the best of a bad situation. But they really do just suck, don't they. I won't be bothering much trying to earn points through them. I have better things to do with my time than to chase their customer service people around.

That's kinda what I was thinking, some people love it so I figured it couldn't be that bad. I will stick to the PTR and surveys. I gotta say in the beginning I thought the PTR were scams but I am glad I gave them a shot.... mypoints on the other hand can kiss my pale behind. I only wish I could go back and do the signup through the PTR.... oh well at least I got 25 bucks from ING and lesson learned.

I'm afraid of something like that happening. I signed up for the 14-day trial for Rhapsody for 1,500 points. Nothing shows that I signed up for it. It shows my click-thru and 5 points. I was about to contact them and saw that they say wait 30 days. But I didn't even get any kind of welcome or confirmation email from Rhapsody as proof that I joined. I did save the MyPoints Bonus mails about them and did screen shots of my having become a member, so I hope that will be enough.

Now I don't know if I should contact them before 30 days or not.

I'm sorry that happened to you. That's really crappy.

I don't like the recordkeeping associated with My points..just seems too much can slip by them...sorry to hear of your troubles..I will not purchase anything thru them..

they wont even attempt to help you until it's been 30 days. Even then help is a poor word choice. Perhaps I should say you have to wait thirty days to add to your aggravation- BUT 60 days is too long. So keep track and start hounding them after 30.

I had the 5 points show too which should have come from the SAME click as the missing 545. I hope your do show up! If not I wish you much better luck than I had.

Wow, I am surprised...I have only had good customer service. Once I didn't get credited for a purchase I made. They had me e-mail them the receipt for my purchase and credited me the next day. Is there a phone number to call and speak with a real person??

I sent them an email asking if my GC's were mailed together, the envelope had been opened, and I wanted to know if someone stole one or a couple. I got the stupid form letter back, So I emailed them back with SERIOUSLY< did you read the F******* email? I got a response then!

The first three responses from them told me to forward my "receipt" along with the store name and amount spent. On the fourth reply I think they may have acknowledged (although it's possible they didn't) that I didn't shop a site, I wasn't complaining about a purchase. It was an offer to open an account. I opened said account. I offered to email my confirmation minus my private info (password account #) because the only email I received in confirmation had all that in it.

It was like banging my head against a brick wall - I almost felt like I was dealing with dishnetwork ( see blog- they only hire english speaking morons and non english speaking people across the world) again. After all that I sure as hell would/will not hand over my password and account info to mypoints. That is like bending over and asking for it.

paid to read or maybe it's paid to click, either way it's emails (like the mypoints bonusmail) and there are some offers too... I only do three Sendearnings, inbox dollars, and snap dollars ( I haven't made up my mind on that one yet... seems okay but slow going the first two are great) I am under the impression that I can make lots of money from referrals.... I just don't have any, lol. I am doing okay without them though. They have games too but I don't do them... I can play games for free.

I haven't done the MyPoints e-mails because it seems like it would take a billion unwanted e-mails to make any money. Are they worth it?

And PM me details on the others. I'll sign up under you so you can get the referral. I may not stick with them if they pay as low as MP, but you'll at least get the bonus.

I am so sorry about this Tara. I am not surprised though. Just yesterday I checked my account and I see 25 points not there. The click through is there, but no points. I decided to not pursue it because I am already a wreck with nerves this week. I have decided not to care if the points don't show up and are 25 points or less. I am pretty well sure that most people miss points getting added to their bank and never really know it. I have been a member since last century lol and they have messed mine up too often for me to believe others aren't messed with - they just don't know it. If you start clicking lots of things, you forget all that should be there many times. Mnay people may also forget to look very often. Good luck and let us know if that phone number works for you.
