A Note About Darby

i thank the administrators of this site for keeping the peace. its nice over here and i like the sharing here. i am settling in nicely. i liked how welcome i was!! that was nice!

I'm glad to hear that! I know that you and I don't see eye to eye on a few issues, but I like that we can all agree to disagree and move on.

AGREED! I hate joining forums and boards because I always feel so unwelcome. This place is great, though.

I would also like to Thank y'all for all of your maturity in this also. We are still working out how far we want to go in our strictness and the fact that y'all are sticking with us shows a great amount of respect for Rebecca from y'all.

we really dont want to ban anyone, that is true. Or they dont. I kinda wana ban Tara. and Fergui.. but they wont let me..

I also want to Thank all the members who either PM'd us individually or used the report buttons on her posts. That helps us alot. We cant be everywhere all the time Although we try

I am not sure what she did... but I for one am loving this bored. it keeps me up to date on all the bzz stuff. You have to get rid of a few bad seeds to grow beautiful flowers. Keep up all the good work. thanks for this site.

Now she's claiming (on the BL) that she was blocked for not agreeing with the "anti MyPoints" group. I wanted to post - "Um, no, Darby, you were blocked for being an obnoxious meanie. You can disagree, but just don't SHOUT and be unpleasant about it."

I refrained. I don't want to get into a fight.

I heart UB. And I also am happy with the MyPoints thing. I'm not being banned because of that opinion.

When I emailed her I think I made the reason she has been removed pretty clear. If she wants to post that on the BL, that's fine. This board is open for guests to see for themselves that she had been warned about her behaviour being inappropriate and they can see her posts for themselves. Guests can also see that everyone else on this board has posted their disagreements respectfully and then moved on without getting heated.

I was going to respond to her, but I just walked away and let the powers that be handle it.

I think her posts should be 'sticky'd'...it will let people know the truth as to why she was banned. That, and a reminder of what this board will not accept.

I am a firm believer of bannings. Not because of disagreeing with a member, but because of the simply fact that a disagreement does not have to become a trash fest.

What she did, was trashy, and not representative of this board.

Besides, if you sticky her posts, people will know that she is a liar.

Exactly, and a very good point Rebecca... this thread is becoming a Darby-bash. Sure I wasn't thrilled with her/his (?) behavior, but I think the gist of this this thread is to put an end to it, not necessarily everyone having to say what they didn't like about the person. That's obvious to all, so how about just chillin out now, please ?

The rules are CLEALY posted, I read them, and that's my obligation when I join a message board.

It's your board, and if someone isn't following the rules set up by the admin, then well, that's what happens

BUT I am praying for a cell tower that handles AT & T so I can get an air card. I am getting a tower on my property (knock on wood), but dont know if AT&T will buy into it. and dont know when it will happen! LOL they have been in the works for almost a year..

Well, i have been avoiding the posts about the mypoints because I want to form my own opinion. I started to read them, but stopped once I heard pretty much everyone's opinion.

I love this board and am shocked to hear that someone took things too far and got banned. I am trying to rack my brain on whom darby is too... i mean, i know I have seen postings, but I do not recall bashings.

I was raised to know that everyone is differant. We are all going to have our own opinion. It is not my obligation nor my life's mission to make sure that everyone knows that I am the only one right, because i am not. I am glad that this board is also filled with many people that feel the same.

That is why I post here as often as I do. Why I feel comfortable with everyone too. Like we're one big extended family. We help each other when we have questions. We give advice. We joke, we exchange recipes, we bzz each other about campaigns... I would love to meet everyone one day!!

If it is the mods decision to ban someone indefinately or even just a temp. suspension, that is up to them. There is only so much that they can do.
