more than 1 account?

What if two family members have a My Points account and you install their toolbar and it won't let the second person sign in even though they already had a my points account prior to installing the toolbar???
Thoughts?

Don't install the toolbar -- it's nothing but a tracking cookie and who knows what else!

DONT do the tool bar. Tool bars are notorious for being spyware, adware and screwing up your system.

beware of having two mypoints accounts on one computer, mypoints can and will delete all of your points for having more than one account.

Is it home address or computer IP???? Bzz says your spouse can be an agent, but MP says no???

What a mess..guess it is time for DH to quit....at least he got the remote, nice parting gift.

I have no idea, all I know is I signed up for mypoints a couple of months ago and so did my husband and THEN someone told me that mypoints blocked them because they had more than one account coming from their computer.

I guess DH will have to decide if he he will just be a bzz agent for the campaign and not have points for reports......he does not write more than 3 per campaign so far anyway..

Bzz does not mind and that is what he enjoys doing.

That's it I'm having my husband put his points in one account on mypoints, just in case. He only has 100 and we don't want to open another account on mypoints for fear of losing it all

my best friend in maryland is upset. She called me this am when she seen the changes.. she has no idea wth mypoints is! On top of that she's begging me to find out if her husband can have a mypoints acct if she creates one as both are agents.

Oi..bzz should have given everyone the opportunity to "send" thier points to another agent by inputting that agents name.

Now I'm wondering..if her husband wants to transfer his to her..can he put in her my points acct email.. I walked her through creating the acct this morning.. she doesn't have a pile of points but she wants to keep bzz'ing. I told her I'd do the best I could to help her w/mypoints. This is just a friggin mess. She and her hubby have thier own comps..so now I got to do diggin on my points to find out if 2 ppls in the same household can have thier own accts or how this works.

Ok - I IM'd bzz to ask about this, because my hubby just wants to get done "transferring his crap" somewhere. They weren't aware of the conflict between what they were saying (ie ok to combine into one) and mypoints, and also weren't aware that mypoints did not allow more than one account per household. They said they are looking into it (I referred them to this thread for examples of how it isn't working) and will let everyone know ASAP what is going on. Hope this helps!

Why am I not surprised that Bzz wasn't aware of any of this I really had faith that after talking so long to get a new rewards system, that they would have covered all the ins and outs of it. Geez, just another example of how inept they really

lovely.. just lovely. My husband's company does a complete "research" on every organization they join forces with for any events. They go over contracts w/a fine tooth comb and take time to review all the small print before getting into a legally binding agreement.

Why didn't bzzagent do this??

Has anyone read on mypoints that it's 1 acct per household? I gotta go now check it out. I just took me all this time to read the beelog. Damn I hate mypoints.

I've continued to research this, and (sorry, bzz) even though it looked at first like mypoints forbids more than one user per household, it doesn't specifically say that in their TOS. The problem remains is that there are tons of WOM stories saying that they dump people AND their points for this. How do we fit into this scenario??? I sure hope they are researching and have an answer with no grey areas, or I can see people getting even more upset than they already are.

Mypoints is very strict on the one account rule and ruthless in deleting accounts without ever asking you a question about it. I doubt Bzz knows what they have gotten in to

There needs to to be a big warning on Bzzagent site stating that you can only have 1 Mypoints account per household!!! I have a feeling that there are going to be many upset people when their Mypoints accounts are closed and they lose their points becuase they have more than 1 account for the household.

Well i just called Chris back and told her to wait.. don't do anything w/Mark's few points yet. She has til June 9th and hopefully by then we'll have this question resolved.

so it is 1 acct per household? I read the tos and didn't see that in there. She and Mark use seperate puters and have seperate i.ps.

My husband tried to just put his Bzzpoints into our household Mypoints account and it wouldn't let him do it.

Got a message saying that that account had already been used.

I ahd already done mine.
