Helpful Hints for My Points

Guess I was a member back in 2002... when I first got a computer with my ex... ugh, even had that old address. I corrected that quickly!

I kinda get the jist of it, but am still a newbie. I don't shop online but one store, maybe once a year, and I doubt I would ever see that store on mypoints.

Guess we will see what I can get from not until the bzzpoints are added! Maybe I will build up from the e-mail clicks until I have enough for something really worthwhile.

I do have a few reports waiting on being reviewed too, so that will help!

OMG Astrid I would have killed him, too! I'm a MyPoints junkie and I try to force all my loved ones to use my links when they buy things but sometimes they get too excited and do it on their own. A-holes, all of them! <g>

Yeah, he came home all happy with the printed out specs of my computer that he had ordered from work and I was like - "That's all well and good, but are you going to give me 5 points per dollar (or whatever it was then)" He doesn't get it.

Tip to earn points easily

Once you are logged in, click on "easy points".. you can earn 10 points for every coupon you print and redeem and they have some good ones. Plus you get an extra 25 pts a month if you print and redeem more than 5!

I've wondered about those 10 points per coupon and 25 pts per month. How do they know whether or not you've redeemed the coupons? Is it up to the individual companies to report that they've been redeemed and if so wouldn't that take just about forever for the coupon to make its way from my local grocery store back to the manufacturer? And are the coupons personally identifiable to each MyPoints member?

This shows what I know about coupons- nothin'!
