Happy News Empty Happy News

Post by thebigscott Fri May 02, 2008 2:05 pm

Here's my happy news:

Quinn is talking more, and now he says "I love you" and "HAPPY!". The other day he wanted Scott to take him for a drive, and I asked him, "Do you want to go to the car with Daddy?" He grinned and said, "Car-car, yes! Car-car, go! Car-car, Da-da!"

So what's your happy news?

My son had chosen to eat a Quaker Simple Harvest bar over a cookie. That is a good sign!

Plus, my SO now has earned vacation days! He so needs a day or two OFF from work. He has been working nearly 50 hours a week since he started nearly a year ago. Sometimes as much as 80 hours a week! We sat down this morning and threw some ideas at each other as to when he could take some days off.

Tara, get the cordless mouse. I promise, you will feel much more comfertable. And you will never get used to the keyboard. I aint. IT sucks! LOL

But the cordless mouse makes it worth while. And go to walgreens and get the laptop thingy thats kinda like a TV tray. MUCH better than sitting it on your lap, or on the arm of the couch! LOL

and I LOVE my laptop. Its nto fancy, and heavy as hell, I dont take it places, but its so nice to sit in the livng room on the couch and play on the puter Smile

Bow is pulling up. I am not sure thats happy news. Sad I already miss the baby stage.. Sad

And he is flipping.. he sits in your lap facing you and he flips over backwards, landing on his feet. OF course you have to hold his hands.. But he squeals the whole time. Rayley used to do this too. And I swear I didnt teach it to them. They just LOVE to do it. LOL

But thats my news. Maybe I will win a door prize tonight so I will have happy news then Smile

Y'all keep y'alls fingers crossed for me! Smile
