what's up for you today??

Not much here...Wynonna is staying the night at a cousins house, Jayson is gone to a friends, and my hubby has been cramming since yesterday at the library and will be studying all weekend because he is getting ready to take a Microsoft certification test at the beginning of the week. So I am just sitting here looking stupid. I am really wanting a Watermelon Slush Puppie right now, but hubby has the only vehicle and it's 15 miles to town...it's a blah day for me...what are all of you up to today??

We're cleaning. I had brought a bunch of our summer clothes up from the basement and I'm reloading them with winter clothes (finally). And Zaven is having his birthday party next Saturday so we're trying to be productive and get the house really clean. I'm a natural slob plus I have two teens, a preschooler, and a toddler, AND a husband who is also a natural slob. So there's a LOT to get done. But we seem to be making great progress. I'm really pleased at how Zaven has kicked in and helped. Plus the good weather means that the little ones are outside in the yard instead of underfoot.

I will be mopping and waxing floors until I fall over from exhaustion

I went to a dozen garage sales and found some really great stuff for superb prices. Got a couple shelves for $2, got a DVD player for $2 got hubby a NEW Columbia coat for $6, I am half tempted to put it on ebay and make some good money but he says he really wants it. Should have left him home, lol. Another $2 for tons of clothes for Saige. I pulled out her summer stuff the other day to discover she had only one pair of shorts.

Why can't I ever find shelves at a yard sale? I need shelves.

Dh bought me a fishing rod for our anniversary (he asked first, and I said yes), so we went fishing together. After we had pretty much enough fishing, we went and picked up Ceilidh from my parents house (just up the road from where we were fishing) so she could fish. She did really well! She actually handled the fish and everything! Oh, and I caught the biggest one!! LOL
