Yes that is an actual holiday here. This is the second time we've had it. Basically in order to get votes in an election the government promised to give us a holiday in February and Family Day was born. Of course I still had to work last night, but at least I got time and a half! LOL!

Down here in the lower 50's, we call this a holiday too... President's Day... to celebrate Washington & Lincoln's Feb birthdays... so all banks, goverment, postal, and most schools are closed.

Happy Family Day to you and your Family Very Happy That's actually a rather sweet holiday your government has enacted!

Well Trax and Valerie, that kind of sucks. At least in the states, when we have a holiday proclaimed by the Goverment... it applies to all 50 states!
