Tory is leaving to go back to school at 11 am today. I am going to miss her, but we had a great time. I don't think we will see her again until about Sept. She is going to stay at school to work for the summer. She is getting a job working for the school. It will be a 40 hour a week job @ $7.25 and hour. That is much more than she could make here.
I will be cooking for her one last time before she leaves. She wants me to make my chicken strip recipe. She wants to take them on the road with her. It will be about an 8 hour drive back to school.

I'm dead beat today. Was on the road most of this week....drove over 1,000 kms in 3 days. I'd like to just relax today but have to drive in to town for awhile to visit at the retirement home....resting can wait until later. The sun is shining right now!!! Saw 2 robins yesterday, 1 groundhog & a deer outside my kitchen window. I think Spring is finally arriving.

Wow! I've seen loads of birds lately, and even a tiny peregrine falcon barely managing to carry the robin he'd snagged (wish I'd had a camera), and I've seen a groundhog and some deer... but not all on the same day.

Wow, this making me appreciate Missouri more! Those animals don't leave for the winter here. I never stop seeing them out my windows! Extra eagles even show up here for the winter. I love watching them, but wasn't too happy the year they ate my entire chicken flock, grrr.

I've had robins settling in here too. The deer are definately running right now -- my dog brought me 3 does a few weeks ago. He's a border collie and herded them right out of the ravine and into the yard at my mom and dad's!

I'm on the front end of the time schedule. It sucks... I get my kids off to bed and want to chat and no one is around, lol. By the time they come back I'm in bed

we should try to set up a weekend chat time..
see how it goes..

But with all of these little ones that need tucked in, it might be hard to find a time~

I've been seeing Robins for about a month. I saw a blue bird on Easter. We always have birds of pray, deer, fox, ground hog.... I love where I live! LOL!

OK, have to go off and get some cleaning done! Bleck! A mother's work is never done!

Well good afternoon everyone...beautiful day here in Michigan..60 sunny and no BUGS!!!

Good afternoon everyone. It's finally sunny and warm here today. It's been raining and cold here for the past week, I had friends visiting from out of town and it was so miserable being stuck in the house all week not being able to do anything. The kids about drove us insane. My friends went home yesterday, now today it's 70* and the sun is shining.

Summer happens in SW KY overnight. We rarely have spring. We go from winter to summer in a matter of days.

I've spent the day (and not finished yet) out weeding, cleaning up, and pulling up unwanted plants... I'm wearing shorts and a tank today... and I've gotten my 2nd slight sunburn of the season

This girl is one happy camper... and we've got at least two more days ahead just like today

Dee! I am so jealous! I sat out in the sun like an aging cat today LOL

Soaked up the meager warmth and looked at my flower bed thinking how badly it needs what you did!

Kath-Where in Pa are you?? It was grey and windy and COLD here today! LOL! I took a bike ride because my 10 year old son insisted, but it was COLD!!! LOL! The wind almost stopped me in my tracks, and it was raining when I went shopping this morning! Luckily yesterday was a beautiful day. OH, and I think I had more layers on for the Lacrosse game today, than I did for any football or soccer game this fall! ROFL! I can not WAIT until it warms up!
