The cash option is under Featured prizes or something like that. 300 points is $3.

Re: Pinecone,time to quit??
Pinecone here has been the same as always so far. We get $5/survey, no points or anything just straight cheques. I hope that remains the same!
Re: Pinecone,time to quit??
Instead of the money either automatically being deposited to your PP account, added to your debit card, or a check mailed within a business day or two, we now have to wait a few days to get an email that our account has been credited with the points.
At that point you have to go to the PC website, log in, then click the link to the third-party website that now offers merchandise for your accumulated points or you can request cash to your PP, debit card, or check depending on the method you had before the change over. That takes another couple of days to be processed.
So now it's not automatic anymore and it takes most of a week to get the $$ into PP instead of the next day. I have to figure that PC/Neilsen must have gotten tired of having to process the payouts so have outsourced it to this UK company. I'm sure that company isn't doing the work for free, so I have to wonder how much it costs PC now versus how much it was costing to do it in-house. It must benefit them in some way otherwise they would have left well enough alone.
Either way, it just means it takes longer to get our $$ and we now have to be proactive to get it processed.

It must not be worth it to them to do that here in Canada yet. I'm good with that! I get them to send me the cheque. Sure it's slower than PP, but I just take it and deposit it directly into my kids' savings. $5 here and there into their accounts adds up over time!
Re: Pinecone,time to quit??
Rebecca you're lucky to still get $5 per survey... but I'm okay with the $3... heck it takes a very short time to do a survey, most of the time.
I've had notification via email that my account was credit and when I did a survey this week, got a 2nd notification. Went to the site, requested 2 $3 checks and by that evening received an email notificiation that it had been received and then an email the next day the checks had been mailed... I'm pleased with the turn around... I plan to stick with them as long as they offer checks... if they go to a "reward in merchandise" concept only, then I'll probably quit as you do have to have an extremely large amounts of points for that.

Re: Pinecone,time to quit??
Not only extremely large amounts of points, extremely inflated "values" for mostly junk items you probably wouldn't look twice at in a real store, especially with those price tags!
Even their Tiffany selection is low-end and limited. And vastly overpriced, points-wise.
I agree though. As long as there is a cash option, I'll stick with 'em. If they ever go to a merchandise-only option, I'm outta there!

Re: Pinecone,time to quit??
My $6 check arrived today... so we're talking about 6 days from the day I requested it.. nothing to complain about here!
