Back in late Nov, I ordered JCP gift cards thru MP, 8 pt per dollar. I have a JCP account on my home email (and also get their emails at gmail)... but the confirmation came thru my home email. I keep checking and wasn't seeing any confirmation about my transation on my MP account. So end of Dec, I emailed them a copy of my order confirmation. They suggested I wait until a full 30 days has passed and resend.

Do so last night... and this morning received confirmation that they are giving me the 1440 MP for my JPC transation and that those points will be available the 13th of the this month.

Now, at 8500+ points, my biggest delima is what card to order.... restaurant, clothing, Amazon, and so on and so on Smile

I always feel like mypoints is quick to correct things like this! I've never had issues with getting them to credit me my points when they don't show up automatically.

I always try to cash my points in for whichever giftcard gets me the most money for the least amount of points.... I'm way beyond needing to cash them in(33,000+ points currently), but I always have such a hard time choosing!

This holiday season I used MyPoints, Ebates and Swagbucks. MyPoints sucks a little less than swagbucks, but both suck pretty bad. Ebates however, was great. I have used them since about 1999 and they have really improved the last few years. They don't even make you wait 30 days to inquire about your rebate. They will add it to the acct and research later, after only about 1 week. I got the Mypoints from the OpenSky 150 per $1 deal, but it was rough and I have bad taste in my mouth still. I also made 3 others orders and had to fight for the points on every single one. I got them this week, but they only applied on of them to my shopping goal for the quarter.
Swagbucks, they just plain suck for shop n earn. You have to wait 32 days to even ask and they have spacial offer amounts advertized, but they may or not award that amount to you even after a fight. It seems pretty common for Swagbucks to advertise offers they never intend to award the points for. I still do that site daily, but will never shop n earn there again!

I've added Swagbucks to my list of sites to check when I need to order online. I scored 40 Swagbucks per dollar at OpenSly after the MyPoints offer ended. Everyone loved their OpenSky gifts. In fact I have a funny story to tell about the wallets that I ordered for my boys. I happened to let it slip to DS#2 that he would be getting a new wallet for Christmas. He said he liked his wallet and didn't want a new one. I said tough, you're both getting one and you're going to like it. He told DS#1 that they were both getting wallets for Christmas. DS#1 says "Oh, but I just got a new wallet. I don't need one at all." Plus a lot of criteria that he uses to shop for wallets - no trifold etc. Again, tough - you're getting it and you're going to like it. They both loved them.

I also can't forget about Shop Discover, though. I ordered DH some shoes the other day and scored 16% Cash Back plus 10% off the order. I think it was Shoes.com.

You're one tuff momma! You know your boys better than they know themselves. I tend to forget about Discover... got oodes of points and forget that I can use them ordering thru Amazon. So tired of restaurant gift cards (well only because there are so few in my town that are redeemable).

I mostly stick to Ebates for shopping these days. It's the easiest to keep track of, no hoops and they automatically mail me a check! Plus it is the only one I have never had to contact with an issue... it is possible their CS is as bad as mypoints have been for me, but I don't know it so it's good Very Happy
