No, we do not celebrate American Thanksgiving Day. Well, I do telephone some of my USA relatives and we talk about what we are thankful for.

Turkeys are much cheaper than chickens here; especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas, I generally have two in the freezer at all times. There is only my husband and I - I purchase small birds - we have dinner and then turkey stew or turkey soup. Love it!

My local store has a BOGO sale on turkeys this week. I have no freezer room! I need to rearrange because it's all I can think about now.
