Amazon MP3s

Does anyone know how to deal with the Amazon MP3 Downloader? I only have 2 songs that I downloaded from Amazon - one was free and the other was from a credit - but when I synch my iPod I get the message that the 2 songs were not added to my device because they could not be found. GRRR. I can see them on my computer and can l isten to them, so why won't they transfer?

I don't know what I did, but I got them now.
Even though I have no clue as to what I did, it feels good knowing that I fixed it myself.

I have had issues with their MP3's too, they will not load to Bayleys mp3 player. Not an ipod, it's a sony something or other, but it doesn't like amazon.

I don't think we have MP3's on Amazon.ca yet. We just got electronics and housewares just before Christmas. Are their MP3's any cheaper than the iTunes store?

NO, same price usually about $1-1.50 a song

but they also offer lots of free ones... okay so not today's top 20, but free is good.

I was given a $1 credit (I think because I ordered a CD?) and I found the songs to be $.99. So I have a penny credit - whoah, hold me back!
And yes, there is a constantly changing selection of freebies at Amazon. Never saw a freebie at iTunes.

Cripes, I used my credit just a few hours ago and now I see an announcement on Facebook that my friend's son's band has their CD available now on Amazon and iTunes. WIsh I'd have saved it and made their day by giving them a release-day sale.

OK, I'll spread some Bzz for them. Their band is called Rotation.

iTunes has a free song every week, so you need to log in to see what that song is. I had the same problem w/ the free Amazon song as well, and couldn't download it on my iTouch, so I gave up...

How do you find the free iTunes song?

I think it's on the iTunes page, under the features? I find it on my iTouch under iTunes, but I have seen it on the main page for iTunes when I pull it up to sync my music. It's a little box that says "free single of the week".
