Need a recipe or two..

I mostly do baking...so I am not really creative when it comes to blending food flavors together..desserts are my thing. We are having our Christmas with my sister in laws and their familes this weekend. I was going to bring dessert but SIL changed her mind and decided she was doing 2 desserts and so I decided to bring an appetizer or two. I need some good appetizer recipes. Keep in mind it can't be anything spicy because BIL can't tolerate spicy food, I can't either really. Trying to also find something with ingredients that the kids will munch on too..

2 packs little smokies cocktail weinies, 1 bottle BBQ sauce, crockpot....toothpicks


OR wrap them in bacon slices, sprinkle with brown suagr and bake til bacon is cooked. 350 ish.
