I found this recipe in my grandmothers recipe box, it had been given to her by my great grandmother. I keep finding these odd little messages, or words to live by in there.....it's kinda neat.

Preserved Children

1 Large Field
half a dozen children
3-4 dogs
a Pinch of Brook
Handful of pebbles
alot of dirt
flowers

Mix the children and dogs well together, sprinkle the field liberally with pebbles, dirt and flowers. Spread over a deep blue sky and allow to bake in the sun
When good and brown , set to cool in the bathtub.
