Anyone here practice yoga? I started in June and absolutely love it, 3 mornings a week... love my teacher.

but today, we had a substitute (we've had her one time before) and she has a totally different style... can we say "screaming" butt cheeks? Oh how I hope Gale is back on Wednesday!

I've done yoga off and on for the past 6 or 7 years. Great way to keep in shape and build balance.

I think one day I'd like to try it. It's not something I have time for now, but I like the idea.

I have done it, but right now I am doing something different. I get bored with one thing after a while, so I switch up.

For me, it's turned out to be the best exercise program I've ever done... and see myself sticking with it (there have been many before that after a month, I'm thinking... naw). If you can't find a class or can't afford, you can buy a DVD for almost next to nothing an do at home. It has really helped to center me. There are some mornings when I think... "I could stay home" but go, and 10 minutes into the class, I'm rejuvenated and by the end of class, so refreshed, and never have to break into a sweat!

I do the dvds at home, I love it. I would love a class but I am not willing to drive 30 mins to get to one.

Had I also had to drive that far when I first started, I probably wouldn't consider.. but fortunately, our YMCA is like 2 miles from my house! So I pretty much just sort of fell into it.

And might note have even done that, except for the fact that thru DH's health insurance, he was able to get free membershp at the Y.... he saw how jealous I was and suggested I just join, did and and loving the perks... you know I can walk now for 4 miles without rain or snow (oh yeah, it's comming) and not get wet, well except for the walk from the car to the door Very Happy
