I mentioned in the preceding post that I joined the Y... not just to use the treadmill and equipment but to participate in the Yoga class. I go 3 mornings a week (it's offered the other 4 days too, but in the evening or late afternoon... not my cup of tea).

It's been 5 months now... had never taken or done yoga classes in my life. But I have to say, I love it. Can't believe how much better my balance has gotten, how much more flexible I am, and having learned a better way to breath.

Worth the price of the Y membership!

Anyone else do yoga?

I need to correct the term, I don't "do" yoga, I "practice" yoga. Isn't that funny... I mean Doctors practice medicine (scary) and Lawyers practice law (that's scary too), and we also practice yoga. Why don't teachers practice education? I mean, who came up with these terms that we hear time and time again...

Oh don't get me wrong, I definitely am practicing yoga.... but that doesn't effect one except me... for doctors and lawyers? well that's a whole knew topic LOL
