I made 3 batches for $6, messy at first, but you can color or flavor it.

Thanks erin, I saved that page to my favorites and will give it a try sometime when I have time to mess around. It sure would save a lot of expense if I could get it to come out right!!

I tried fondant once and hated the taste so much I never even used it. I love how it looks, but hated the taste. So I'm eager to try this stuff.
Re: For the cake people
This tastes like marshmallows..very sweet marshmallows
I have always hated fondant too, peeled it off and tossed it, but this one is really good.

Re: For the cake people
is it the marshmellow fondant?
I made it once. Well, first I was supposed to buy a 10oz bag? and got a 20 on accident. so I counted out and divided up the bag, marshmellow by marshmellow. LOL
But then I couldnt make it not be a hard lump... I will try to look at the reciepe in a few minutes, see if its the same. If so, how did you do it?

If it weren't for the cake shows on Food Network I would still never have heard about fondant. You never see it on cakes around here. I never tasted it until I bought it to try the valentine box of candy cake in Feb.

Re: For the cake people
OK, I used it. Easy to roll, stretches well, and easy to color. I DO NOT recommend keeping it in the frig, or take it out to warm up , it gets HARD>
