Scott's cure for low pants

You know how teenaged boys seem to want to wear their pants so low that they may as well just be wearing underwear? My husband Scott was having a problem with some of his students in his summer program doing this. He'd told them several times that it was rude and unacceptable and they should pull up their pants. Their excuse was that their pants wouldn't stay up. So a few weeks ago he handed one of them a piece of rope and told him to take care of his pants. The kids just fiddled with the rope for a minute so Scott said, "Here, let me," and then swung the end of the rope so it went through the boy's legs and flipped up his back. Scott grabbed that end before it could fall, jerked up hard, and tied both ends in a knot behind the boy's back.

Of course this is a laid back summer program and everyone (including the boy) thought it was hillarious. But no one wore their pants down low for quite some time. Until today. When one of them showed up with his pants down low, Scott just calmly brought out some spackle and told them, "You know, when I see a crack, I just have the strongest urge to spackle it." He didn't, of course. They had their pants back up before he'd finished his sentence.

Well done. I hate those low pants, my grandsons do that. I will remember the spackle.

Dare I asked, one question - what does he do for the well endowed, young woman? who wear their t-shirts so low on the top half and the jeans so low on the bottom half?

So far, that's not been a problem. I suspect he'd come up with something.

He should make it a traveling show. I bet people would pay.
