Tonight only... free root beer floats

Its National FREE FLOAT night at Sonic on June 3! Go to any Sonic Drive In, all are participating, Free 10 OZ rootbeer floats will be handed out to all customers! This will be from 8pm-Close. Enjoy!!!

YUM! Wish there was one closer than an hour away.

When I went down to help my son move a couple of weeks ago, he pointed out the new Sonic in his neighborhood. The first one, ever, and it had opened maybe a week prior to my visit. The parking lot of the shopping complex the Sonic is located near had a complicated series of lines roped off to get to the drive through. The waits had been running about 2 hours or more. It was insanity. Free rootbear floats on top of that? LOL I can't even imagine.

By the way, no I wasn't up for a multi-hour wait, so I have still never experienced the food at Sonic.

I love Sonic, but I didn't end up going last night. Scott had to attend graduation even though he only teaches freshmen and hasn't even met most of the seniors. I didn't feel like taking all the kids out that late by myself so we blew it off.

Our Sonic has gone downhill over the last 20 years or so, but last ight the line was pribably an hour long. I didn't go, don't like RootBeer, and had a game,

We went last night, and they were handing them out as you waited in line, so top wait for me was about 5 minutes. But, it was such a joke. Hardly no ice cream and tons of root beer. Oh well.... at least I didn't wait an hour or so!

They must have started running out of ice cream. They make a decent float here. I hardly ever get one, but Caly's gotten them.

Oh no... it was like 8:15 when we were there. I think they were spacing it out. ROFL My DH always get the Root Beer Float when we get there, and it's awesome, but not that time!
