laundry question Empty laundry question

Post by crystajewel Fri May 01, 2009 7:17 am

i was wondering if anyone knew how to get sticky residue off of a shirt that has silk in it

when i was at the hospital they made me wear a sticker to get in and out of the area that my son was in and i forgot to take it off the shirt before i washed it and now there is a big area of sticky residue

anyone have any ideas on how to save this shirt?

I use Goo Gone for lots of things, including laundry. I think I'd try it on a hidden seam before trying it on the body of the shirt first to make sure the fabric stays true to color with a little scrubbing. If it seems to bo ok, I'd give it a big squirt of Goo Gone, rub it in, then rub in some laundry detergent and rewash.

Good Luck!
