If You Ever Want to Feel Like a Teenager Again...

...just smuck up your mother's car
I worked last night and on Fridays my mom comes here so that dh can go to work. I got home, she took my van because the kids still need the carseats and took the kids out to her place so I could sleep. After she left I backed her car into the carport. No problems there. At 3:30 I got up and dressed and started off to get the kids. I got part way out of the driveway and realized I forgot my wallet so started backing up to get it. I wasn't even going to back all the way into the carport. I tapped the gas and I guess you could say her car has a whole lot more pick up than my van. It kind of jumped into the side of the carport. I took out the taillight and dented the bumper.
The good news is my dad took it a lot better than he did when I dented the car when I was a teenager! My mom just said, "shit happens," and that was it. Exactly a year ago today she totalled her car in an accident and I think she was just glad this wasn't nearly as bad as her's!
Leave it to me to shmuck up my mom's car when she's babysitting my kids for free

Yup, shit happens. Cars can be fixed. Carports can be fixed. Sometimes it's hard to fix bodies, but doens't seem like that's gonna be a problem either, thank goodness. And hey, don't you feel like a kid again?

I wonder all the time how you young women withkids manage to work and raise the kids and do everything. I was a SAHM and I was busy every minute of the day...

When you are rushed and tired ... stuff does happen.
