I never knew you could make your own detergent! What a great idea! Maybe I should get my head out of the sand once in a while! drunken

Well, I went looking today for the washing soda and struck out. I guess I will have to order it from the A&H site. DH asked why I didn't just do that last week. Had I done that, he would of asked why I did it! Rolling Eyes

Buzznut, the only place I have been able to find it is at Fred Meyers (if you have one)..

I've been making my own detergent since we first talked about it here and still love it.. I like the dry version:

1 cup of Fels
1/2 cup washing soda
1/2 cup of borax

Then I add in a few drops of essential oil (using citrus still) and it's only 2 tablespoons per load..

I don't have one of those stores. I ended up ordering it from Arm & Hammer. I called to ask where in my area I could get it. They told me the only place was at the Kroger store I looked at yesterday, and they didn't have it. It wasn't bad though, if you call them it is $3.99. But if you buy 2 or more boxes they don't charge you any shipping. If anyone decides to order it, don't order it off the A&H webpage, it is $4.50. They are very friendly when you call too.
