Is this some sort of weird stage?

DD refuses to listen, not sure what is going on but I have HAD IT! I am to the point of losing my mind or something. I have threatened spankings, ( she is bigger than me) taken away her lappie, and flat out grounded her for years into the future....UGH, when does it end? I NEVER had problems like this with kristin.

Teen angst? PMS? Maybe just the close quarters because of living in the travel trailer while the house is rebuilt? Who knows! I think all kids have something, but it's a different thing for each of them. Hopefully things will settle down soon.

I hope so, I am to the point of not liking kids anymore, any kids.

hell erin, if she just started not listening then you are ahead of the game. LOL MIne dont listen and havent for about a year.

I think we should be able to buy a shocking colar for kids. Not a huge jolt, just enough to get their attention.

cause its illegal to pop them in the back of the head repeadedly...

She is like this because she is a kid! Believe me when she grows up and moves out you will wish you and she were at this stage and time again as in right now!

PS: I missing my 3 adult children so much I'd love to hear my baby boy's Yellow Mustang Convertible Limited 5.0 fly in the driveway late at night (too late!) and I even love to hear he received another speeding ticket but I never again want to hear that a drunk driver totaled his third (this one) Mustang!

This is normal.
With my kids I didn't threaten. I gave ONE warning then followed through.
If I said I was going to do something, I did it.
I wasn't popular but they soon learned who was in charge.
