You gotta love the jokes

Seven year olds tell. Katie is cracking herself up:

What do you get when you cross a dragon and a cheese sandwich?

A grilled cheese sandwich.

My kids used to get the joke books from Scholastic sales and I always considerd them a good investment. Those jokes never go out of style.

gosh, girls jokes are so much better than boys...

I wont even go there... LOL

But I will admit that I am so freakin tired of Rayley not being able to do the knock knock banana and orange joke.. and she still messes up the one about the kid named Texas...

Bayley does not "get" jokes, never has, never will...she doesn't get sarcasm either, much to my delight.

My mom thought she'd try the banana / orange knock-knock joke on my oldest. He must have been about 3.

Mom: Knock Knock
Wes: Who's there?
Mom: Banana!
Wes: Banana - what are you doing?



To this day we still say "Banana, what are you doing?"

OK, not being from TX I don't know this one...

My darling brother has taught Saige some very bad taste jokes. We were at her doctors when she asked the nurse why the baby crossed the road..... the nurse guessed to get to the other side and Saige said no, because it was stapled to the chicken. There was nothing for me to crawl under.

I would have killed him.

Oh, you have no idea. That was one day he was very, very lucky to be across state.

He comes home on weekends, apparently to teach my children to humiliate me.
