Is there a decent restaurant in Lufkin besides Ralph and Kacoos, and Applebees, or Logans Roadhouse?
Those are the only ones we have eaten at, but we are meeting DH's grandmother and Aunts in LUfkin on Sat so I want to feed them all something good.maybe something different.

The mexican resturant there under the loop. Chico's or something. ?? they have decent frozen meals. BUT they do have a fried ice cream that is AMAZING!! across from the old Kmart. And REd Lobster. in the mall parking lot. those are all I can even think of.

OH wait. THere is a GOOD mexican resturant down 1st street. Homemade tortillias and all. I cant remember the name of it. But its all done up in them blues and pinks. Down 1st street like you are heading towards..... nacadogoches. ITs on your right.

I miss the brazos cattle company... They always made my steak perfect. You'd think 'mooin and bleedin when I cut it' would be easy enough to do, but they are the only ones who NEVER screw it up. LOL

I havent went to the R &K here. I did in La. It wasnt bad. But from what I hear this one wants you to be dressed nice and all that..

Well, we are gonna be in shorts and t shirts, and have ALOT of kids with us. So dressed nice is out of the question, they will be lucky if we do not smell too bad.

I dont know that there is a snooty man at the door with a 1970's coat and tie telling you to put it on, BUT everyone I have talked to has said that the general atmosphere was the clientel was dressed quite nice, buisiness attire at the least.

Not my cup of tea. I can get a decent steak at Red Lobester and a tail to boot , so thats my place of choice. most times.
