Re: Chelle???
Whether it is a relative or not, I am glad they made an arrest and have found remains. Even if it is not him it is someone, and everyone should be laid to rest in a respectful manner. The family needs closure, and to bury him. September is a long time to be wondering what happened.

Re: Chelle???
I tried to find where this thread originated, and had no luck... but let me tell you MY story about an infamous relative....
My great great grandfather, Michael McElroy, who came here from Ireland in 1852, finally settled in MI. His daughter married. His daughter's father in law rented Michael a house. Long story short... a scaffle happened one day after church, Michael pointed a shot gun at the landlord (D's father-in-law), shot an killed him. Michael ran... well took his wagon and rode , was caught by the possee and put in jail. Many folks threatened to break him out and "hang him"... didn't happent. After 2 trials, my GG Grandfather, Michael, was found innocent.
How's that for having skeltons in the closet? And funny thing about this, I got into genealogy, found the story in the old newspapers that went on for several articles/weeks. My Mom, sadly had passed, so never go to hear the story. When I told her youngest sister about it, well she denied it all... no way could her great grandfather have killed anyone... I was wrong... blah de blah blah. Even when I gave her copies of the newspapers I had reprinted would she believe it. Denial... runs in my family.
Anyway, I loved the history, the story and my narfarious great great grandfather !
