Help finding a good coupon organizer
I so need something to keep all my coupons in that I don't have to keep sorting.
This is all that I have that looks like it might work.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
That looks so cool. I have a fabric one with dividers and I hate it, lol. I just can not bring myself to spend 20 bucks on something to hold my coupons, in my mind it defeats the purpose. I was thinking about just using envelopes in a little rubbermaid container or something. I need something that they wont fall out of when I go and get them. I might add this to my Christmas list. I wont buy it but wont object if someone else buys it for me, lol.
Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
I just bought a small pocketbook one to keep in my purse. It had enough room that I can keep the coupons for stuff I use regularly with me in case I see them on sale. But I also will eventually need something bigger.
Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
I have heard of people buying a binder 1.99 then buying the clear sheets that kids keep baseball cards in (usually about 10 cents a sheet) they have 9 pockets in each sheet.
Here is a thread from the HCW website about binders and boxes.

Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
I stole my sons ( actually, he offered it to me, he is so nice ) trapper keeper from this last year. It aint pretty, but its free. (cause it made no sense for me to spend money when I am trying to save money..LOL)
and I got photo page refills, they hold 3 4x6 pictures each. There were 10 sheets, and I divided it up by writing On the sheets
soda's
razors,
cookies
canned goods
frozen
etc.
Brett divided up all the coupons and put them in the slots. I have also heard that baseball card holders work great. But I couldnt find any.
anyway, the sheets cost me 1.98. I plan to buy some more. and I like the trapper keeper cause it zips. So if I drop it they dont all fall out everywhere.

Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
oh and he put some notebook paper in there for me .
He said. "so you can write down the prices on the stuff you always buy, so you know its a good deal before you go!"
not bad for a 9 year old..

Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
If you like her set up, you can do that for about 7.00 max.
Make your own index page.
buy 58 cent dividers to stick on the photo fill pages
buy photo fill pages
a 1.98 notebook.
(and to make it with fruit, get some contact paper on clearence and cut it out and stick it on there!! )

Have you tried this site:
http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=tag_title&search_query=coupon+organizer
Search through the homemade stuff to see if there's anything that jumps out at you.

Re: Help finding a good coupon organizer
I have always preferred a box over a binder. Currently I use a photo organizing box that is about the size of a shoe box. I paid about 50 cents for it on clearance. It came with some dividers and I made more from cardboard. In the back of it, I keep scissors and clothes pins. The scissors are for cutting out things I have not yet cut and the clothes pins are for clipping the coupons together that I am going to redeem. I put them in the clip as I pull them out of the box to use that trip. The clip keeps them together for me and is not so easy to lose it in the store then. I keep the box in a tote bag, which I use to carry to and from store, and also holds folders with unclipped inserts, if I am behind in my cutting.
